Where these numbers come from
Each figure is transcribed from the tariff schedule the municipality publishes or from the regulator's approved decision for that year, never estimated. The registry behind this section tracks 169 licensed distributors across the country; 27 are live so far, the metros and the larger cities first, and smaller municipalities follow as their documents are captured.
The estimator uses each municipality's standard residential tariff and a rough usage guess from home and household size. Real usage varies a lot; a figure from your own bill or prepaid buys is always better. Seasonal tariffs are averaged over the year (three winter months, nine summer). Tariffs that charge per amp of supply are costed at a 60 A single-phase connection, the usual size for an ordinary home, and where a municipality moves heavier users to a different tariff, the estimate moves with them. Indigent and lifeline tariffs, which are cheaper for registered low-income households, are on each municipality's page.
